Connect VoIP to a PSTN telephone network

Gateway Series Part 4

Your challenge: Connect your internal VoIP network to an external PSTN telephone network via IP connection

Scenario 1 - Resilience

Companies that handle the entire IP traffic via a single Internet line (including IP telephony) are well advised to keep an existing PSTN line and to connect your modern, internal VoIP telephone system via a gateway. In case of failure of the Internet service can still be phoned, communicated and worked.

Scenario 2 - remote regions

There are still areas in Austria that do not have a stable internet connection and a bad GSM network. Branches or companies in these locations still want to use internally modern devices and can connect them to the PSTN telephone network via VoIP Gateway.
